3. Kumarakom
Kumarakom is located near Kottayam. This is one of Kerala's most famous attractions. It is a birdwatcher's paradise as it is a 14-hectare bird sanctuary, and is a popular place for migratory birds. Kumarakom is also a spectacular destination for backwaters. So you try a boat trip here. As Ayurveda massages are performed here, the place is the favorite for those who want to complete relaxation. Lake Vembanad in Kumarakom is a popular tourist destination. It is also great picnic spot and view point with mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets, depending on the time of the cruise.

4. Thekkady

Thekkady offers a great opportunity to spot wildlife on a cruise. Here you will find various species of animals, including elephants, tigers, deer, bison and many more. Here you can ride on elephants to get into the forest. The plantations and mountain resorts offer a picturesque backdrop. You can go for a walk here. The main tourist attractions of Thekkady are the Periyar River, Murikkady and Chellarkovil.
